Bodyboard Warranty Policy

Personal Injury Disclaimer

Please note that watersports are dangerous and that any time you enter the water you are assuming a certain amount of personal risk. We want to make you aware that we will not be held liable for any sort or personal injury when using our bodyboard products, even if this coincides with a valid warranty claim. Always wear proper watersports gear, check local weather forecasts, check the water conditions and follow the guidance of local beach lifeguards to ensure that you are safe in the water at all times. It is your personal responsibility to ensure that your water proficiency is suitable for the conditions in which you will be riding.

What is Covered by Your Warranty

All Two Bare Feet bodyboards are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This means that Two Bare Feet will, at our discretion, repair or replace any Two Bare Feet product that we deem to feature defects in materials or workmanship. We may also provide instructions on how to repair your own items if we deem any defect to have been caused by improper usage or extraneous situations.

Please inspect your item thoroughly before its first use and report to us any defects that you believe to be covered by a warranty before you use the item. We are unable to credit warranty claims for imperfections or blemishes once the item has been used.

Our Bodyboards are made with an EPS core, IXPE foam surface and an HDPE slick underside. Given the nature of materials used and the forces placed on this gear during normal use conditions, no other warranty is expressed or implied. Please note that all bodyboards are liable to break through normal use. This is true of any gear used for extreme sports due to the strong forces placed on equipment.

Our warranty is intended to cover products that have been used under the following conditions only:

- Products must be unused, or must have been used in the water only for wave riding and flotation in calm conditions only
- Products must not have been subjected to severe forces (i.e. must not have been jumped on, dragged along the floor, used for skimboarding, duneboarding, or any other usage not deemed as standard).
- The item must not have been used in shorebreak conditions, or have been ridden into shallow water where it may come in contact with sand or rocks.
- The item must be stored in a cool, dry place, indoors, and in a suitable storage bag when not in use
- The item must not be subjected to severe weather conditions such as strong sun, or cold weather for extended periods of time
- When not in use for short periods of time the items should be stored with the slick side facing up and should be covered by a towel of other covering that will protect it from the sun
- All gear must be cleaned with fresh water and dried out of direct sunlight after each use and before storage

How to Claim Against Your Warranty

If you have a faulty product and want to claim against the warranty then please contact our Customer Service team directly. Make sure to include your original order number, as well as a few pictures and a brief description of the problem you are having with your item. This is the quickest way to resolve any issue you may have.

Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged, or where a manufacturing fault occurs within 90 days of purchase. Please note that items that are damaged from wear are not considered faulty. If you believe your bodyboard is defective due to a manufacturing fault, please inform us of the defect immediately and do not continue to use the item.

We may ask for you to return the product to us for inspection. If we decide your item is defective, we will replace it with a similar, available product of the same or better condition and pay for the shipping back to you.

If our experienced inspectors decide your item is not defective or does not meet our warranty conditions, you will be informed and asked if you want it returned to you (chargeable) or destroyed. Please be aware of this before sending any items back to us without contacting customer services above.
