Deck Styles

Most decks can be made into a board suitable for downhill purposes, however these ones are the best choice to go with. The lower deck offers stability as well as pace when racing down the hills. These boards also offer drop-through trucks which offer great handling and performance for downhill riding.

Deck Sizes

Between 37-43" is the ideal size for a downhill board. If the board is shorter than this, you will feel more unstable at high speeds, especially when riding downhill. For those who are wanting to learn, we always recommend a longer deck if possible as this will be more stable for you to gain confidence and balance. We would recommend a board around 40-41" if you are unsure on sizing.
